PTW Energy Services is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to join our team on various construction projects. You will install electrical systems on industrial sites, interpret drawings, and ensure compliance with safety and electrical standards.

Qualified candidates have a valid Journeyman certificate (Red Seal preferred) and at least 4 years in industrial electrical work. The role requires flexibility for shifts and overtime, with flights provided in some cases and comprehensive benefits after

Qualificações

• Journeyman Electrician with valid certificate (Red Seal preferred).
• Minimum 4 years in industrial electrical construction.
• H2S Alive, Fall Protection, First Aid (Level A/C with CPR/AED), CSTS 2020.
• Knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code and OH&S requirements.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical documents.

Role Summary:

We are seeking a Journeyman Electrician to join our team on various construction projects. You will install electrical systems on industrial projects/sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install electrical systems, equipment, and components.


• Interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.


• Ensure all work complies with electrical code, safety regulations, and company policies.


• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.


• Test electrical systems using appropriate tools and equipment.


• Collaborate with other trades and contractors on job sites.


• Complete documentation, work orders, and reports as required.


• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe work environment.


• Other duties as required.

Qualifications / Requirements:

• Valid Journeyperson Electrician Certificate (Red Seal certification preferred)


• Minimum of 4years of experience in industrial construction electrical work


• Valid H2S Alive, Fall Protection, Standard First Aid (Level A or C with CPR/AED), and CSTS 2020


• Strong knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code and OH&S requirements


• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents


• Proficient with hand tools, testing devices, and electrical equipment


• Valid driver's licence


• Flexible availability for shift work, overtime, and weekends, with a strong focus on safety and self-direction


• Ability to work in various environments, including heights, confined spaces, and outdoor conditions

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive hourly wage ranging from $50.50, commensurate with experience and certification


• Flights provided from Edmonton or Calgary


• Overtime opportunities paid at 1.5x the regular hourly rate
