PTW Energy Services is seeking an Apprentice Electrician in Alberta to join our team on diverse construction projects. This is for 1st–4th year apprentices with industrial or commercial experience, focused on safe, high‑quality work that meets client needs and exceeds expectations.

You will assist journeymen, read drawings and electrical codes, install motors/PLCs, and support three‑phase systems. Shift work, overtime, and a strong safety emphasis are required.

Qualificações

• Indentured 1st–4th year Electrical Apprentice with provincial regulatory body.
• Familiar with the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC).
• Valid H2S Alive, Fall Protection, Standard First Aid (Level A or C with CPR/AED), and CSTS 2020.
• Able to read electrical drawings, schematics, and P&IDs.
• Strong safety focus and good communication skills.
• Flexible availability for shift work, overtime, and weekends, with a strong focus on safety and self-direction.
• Valid driver's licence.
• Ability to work in various environments, including heights, confined spaces, and outdoor conditions.

Role Summary:

We are seeking an Apprentice Electrician to join our team on various construction projects. The Apprentice is a 1st–4th year Electrical Apprentice with relevant industrial or commercial experience who is committed to delivering safe, high-quality work that meets client needs. This role requires strong attention to detail, and a focus on safety, and exceeding client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist Journeyman Electricians with installation of industrial electrical systems


• Interpret drawings, schematics, and electrical codes


• Install motors, PLCs, control circuits, conduit, wiring, and panels

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive hourly wage ranging from $27.63-$38.25, commensurate with experience and certification


• Travel Allowance: 6 hours per shift
