Job summary

ATCO Structures & Logistics is seeking a registered Journeyman Electrician to join our Rockyview Manufacturing Plant. The role involves wiring modular units from rough-in to finishing in a union environment at the Rockyview Location.

You will read blueprints, install wiring units, panels, and fixtures, troubleshoot, and test electrical systems while adhering to safety procedures and quality standards. Local shift is day, with competitive hourly wages and benefits.

Qualifications

• Actively registered Journeyman Electrician.
• Experience with modular units is asset.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Ability to work safely with hand and power tools.
• Ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist and wire modular units from rough-in to finishing.
• Assist in installation of wiring units, panels, and fixtures.
• Read and interpret drawings, circuit diagrams, and electrical code specifications to determine wiring layouts.
• Troubleshoot and test all electrical wiring units and fixtures in modular units.
• Perform quality inspections and inspect tools and the shop.
• Follow all safety procedures.

ATCO Structures & Logistics is looking to hire a registered Journeyman Electrician to join our Rockyview Manufacturing Plant. The Journeyman Electrician is responsible for the wiring of modular units from rough to finishing. This is a union-based role. Location will be in Rockyview Location

Job Responsibilities

• Assisting and or wiring modular units from rough-in, to finishing
• Assisting in and or installation of wiring units, panels, and fixtures
• Read and interpret drawings, circuit diagrams, and electrical code specifications to determine wiring layouts.
• Troubleshoot and test all electrical wiring units and fixtures in modular units.
• Perform quality inspections and inspect tools and the shop.
• Use hands and power tools.
• Follow all safety procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Who You Are

• Actively registered Journeyman Electrician
• Previous experience with modular units is considered an asset
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Ability to work safely with a wide variety of hand and power tools as well as materials.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
