Job summary

ATCO Structures is seeking an experienced Carpenter Apprentice/Carpenter for our Kamloops manufacturing facility. Under the Lead Hand, you will assemble modular units and components, following safety procedures and ensuring quality and timeliness.

• 4+ years experience working as a carpenter on residential and commercial projects.
• A team player and a safe worker, who can safely handle materials and operate hand and power tools.
• Experience with exterior finishing, framing, cladding and siding preferred.
• Previous experience with the assembly of modular units is considered an asset.

We are looking for an experienced Carpenter Apprentice/ Carpenter to join our manufacturing facility in Kamloops. Under the direction and leadership of the Lead Hand, the Carpenter is responsible for the assembly of modular units and other modular building components, ensuring work tasks are performed following safety procedures and company policies while ensuring a high level of quality and timeliness.

In this position, you also get to assist in the assembly of modular building components, including floors, walls, and roofs

Job Responsibilities:

Who You Are:

• 4+ years experience working as a carpenter on residential and commercial projects

• Ability to lift 55lbs unassisted and 35lbs overhead
