Job summary

Golderado is seeking a Carpenter Apprentice to join our on-site teams. The role requires reading and interpreting technical guides and drawings, safe use of carpentry tools, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Candidates must be comfortable working at heights and in adverse weather while following safety protocols. Experience in carpentry apprenticeships or equivalent is required, along with CSTS 2020 and WHMIS 2015.

Qualifications

• Carpentry apprenticeship or equivalent is required.
• CSTS 2020 and WHMIS 2015 are required.
• Fall Protection & Rescue, Aerial Platform, Confined Spaces, Rigging/Hoisting and Hand Signals, and First Aid/CPR certification would be an asset.
• Proficient English language skills required.
• A reliable means of transportation is required.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical guides, drawings and specifications.
• Safely operate carpentry tools to perform tasks.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights on job sites.
• Work in adverse weather conditions while maintaining safety.
• Prepare job sites and assist skilled tradespeople as needed.

Key Information:

• Hours: Project dependent; minimum 40 hours per week, with overtime necessary during the busy season (April-October)
• Hourly rate is dependent on experience.
