Job summary

Aerotek in Edmonton, AB is hiring Journeyman & Apprentice Electricians for a contract-to-hire role on commercial projects. Work includes rough-ins, wire pulling, lighting installs, and BX/EMT work, with a schedule Monday to Friday, 7:00 am–3:30 pm.

Onsite, with competitive hourly pay and potential for long-term employment based on performance. Eligible candidates hold CSTS and fall protection certifications; fire alarm experience and other certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in electrical work and conduit bending.
• Experience in commercial or residential construction.
• Valid CSTS and fall protection certifications.
• Experience with fire alarm systems.
• Additional certifications such as First Aid, fall protection, and elevated work platform.

Job Title:

Job Description:

Working on a variety of commercial projects, focusing on

electrical installations and maintenance.

You will be engaging in tasks such as rough-ins, prepping

boxes, wire pulling, box and lighting installations, and working with BX cable

and EMT conduit.

Responsibilities:

• Perform rough-ins and prepare electrical boxes.

• Conduct wire pulling and install electrical boxes.

• Install lighting fixtures.

• Work with BX cable and EMT conduit.

Essential Skills:

• Proficiency in electrical work and conduit bending.

• Experience in commercial or residential construction.

• Valid CSTS and fall protection certifications.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience with fire alarm systems.

• Additional certifications such as First Aid, fall protection, and elevated work platform.

• Experience in large commercial or institutional projects.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $48.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
