Job summary

First General Services (PA) Ltd. in Prince Albert, SK is seeking a Journeyman carpenter with strong finishing carpentry skills to install baseboards, casing, mouldings, doors, and repair cabinets and countertops.

Some exterior work experience such as fascia, soffit, siding, and roofing is an asset. Must have a valid driver's license, be bondable, provide own hand tools, and wear steel-toed boots. Wages are $28-$35 per hour with a company benefit package.

Qualifications

• Journeyman carpenter with strong finishing carpentry skills.
• Experience installing baseboards, casing, mouldings and interior/exterior doors.
• Experience with cabinets and countertops installation and repair.
• Basic plumbing and electrical experience.
• Must have valid driver’s license and be bondable.
• Must provide own hand tools and wear steel‑toed boots.

Responsibilities

• Perform finishing carpentry tasks such as baseboards, casing and mouldings.
• Install and repair cabinets and countertops, including doors as needed.
• Carry out basic plumbing and electrical tasks related to carpentry projects.
• Assist with exterior work such as fascia, soffit, siding and roofing where required.

Journeyman with strong skill in finishing carpentry such as installing baseboards, casing, mouldings, doors (interior/exterior), repair and re-installation of cabinets and counter tops. Basic plumbing and electrical. Installation of various wall finishes (drywall, panelling, etc.). Experience with exterior work such as facia, soffit, siding and roofing an asset. Must have a valid drivers license and be bondable. Must provide own hand tools. Must have steel toed boots. Company benefit package. Only qualified applicants will be contacted for interview.
