Job summary

CALIBER CONSTRUCTION GROUP INC. is seeking apprentice carpenters (3rd/4th or Red Seal) for on-site work at commercial construction sites in Saskatchewan.

A valid driver's license is required and self-motivated candidates are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities include assisting with framing, concrete work, finishing, doors/windows, painting, and exterior siding, with opportunities to operate equipment as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience as a qualified carpenter in general carpentry, construction, or related industry.
• Knowledge of building maintenance and carpentry trades.
• Understanding of general construction codes & regulations.
• Ability to work alone in a self‑managing role or in a team.
• Basic Safety certifications including SCOT or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of work on commercial sites, from concrete work to framing and finishing.
• Contribute to framing, flooring, boarding, doors & windows, painting, finishing, and exterior metal siding as required.
• Operate or assist with construction equipment when needed (e.g., zoom‑boom, back‑hoe, skid‑steer).

We are looking for apprentice carpenters, 3rd/4th or Red Seal who is self‑motivated. A valid Drivers License is a requirement for employment. We offer competitive wages, a full Health & Benefits program!

This position will be working primarily in commercial worksites, performing a variety of work that may include everything from concrete work, framework to finishing. It is expected to contribute to all parts of the construction process, including framing, flooring, boarding, doors & windows, painting, finishing, and exterior metal siding as required. Knowledge in operating construction equipment is considered an asset, e.g., zoom‑boom, back‑how, skid‑steer, etc.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualities:

• Experience working as a qualified carpenter in general carpentry, construction, or related industry
• Good working knowledge & understanding of building maintenance, the carpentry trade in general, construction or related industry trades
• Sound knowledge of general construction codes & regulations
• Ability to work alone in a self‑managing role or in a team
• Basic Safety certifications including SCOT or equivalent
