We are looking for an Assistant Controller to join our Broadcast Finance team. This position reports to the Broadcast Controller.

• Prepare, coordinate, and oversee month-ends and the accounting cycle.
• Prepare month-end transactions and financial analyses (monthly income statement analyses).
• Support technicians, analysts, and AR specialists in analysis and estimates files.
• Prepare supporting documentation for monthly financial statements, including schedules for balance sheet accounts.
• Review music rights reports, consumption taxes, bank reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable reconciliations, intercompany transactions, commission reports, and foreign exchange rate revaluations.
• Support the preparation of the annual audit.
• Prepare analyses for various ad hoc projects and other financial requests.
• Collaborate with other departments to improve procedures.
• This role involves working in a bilingual environment, with 50% of the work conducted in English and French.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in accounting.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, SharePoint).
• Knowledge of Netsuite software.
• Previous experience at a “Big 4” accounting firm is preferred.
