We are looking for an Assistant Controller to join our Broadcast Finance team. This position reports to the Broadcast Controller.

Your day-to-day

• Prepare, coordinate and oversee month-ends and accounting cycle
• Prepare month-end transactions and prepare month-end financial analyses (monthly income statement analyses)
• Support technician, analyst and AR specialist in analysis and estimates files
• Prepare supporting documentation for monthly financial statements (including supporting schedules for balance sheet accounts)
• Review music rights reports, consumption taxes, bank reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable reconciliations, intercompany transactions, commission reports, and foreign exchange rate revaluations
• Support the preparation of the annual audit
• Prepare analysis for various ad hoc projects and other financial requests
• Collaborate with other departments to improve procedures
  
  

Your Qualifications

• Bilingual, French-speaking environment, 50% of the role is in English
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field with a concentration in accounting
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, SharePoint)
