Aarorn Technologies Inc in Montreal, QC is seeking a Java Developer to join our Risk and Information Management team. This contract role involves building multi-tier Java EE-style applications with Front-End technologies, in a fast-paced, Agile environment.

Qualifications

• 7 to 15 years of development experience with optimized, efficient, and clean code.
• Core Java, Java EE, Spring/SpringBoot, Web Services, Relational databases.
• UI development frameworks (Angular, React, etc).
• Experience with AI coding assistants like Copilot for software development, automation, or analytics.
• Demonstrated experience in designing complex, large-scale distributed systems and microservices.

Interview Type: Face 2 Face (Onsite Interview Only)We're seeking someone to join our Risk and Information Management team as a Full Stack Developer with experience on multi-tiered Java EE-style applications and Front-End technologies. The candidate will be required to work in a multifaceted agile team on the development and maintenance of a suite of applications which cater to Non-Financial Risk Management.

Required Skills

What you ll bring to the role:

• 7 to 15 years of development experience with proven ability to write optimized, efficient, and clean code.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication, organizational, and planning skills.
• Strong work ethic, collaborative spirit, and clear communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to write thorough unit tests covering all major logic components, preferably using coding assistant.
• Ability to align technology initiatives with business objectives and understand the financial aspects of technology decisions.

Good To Have Skills

• Experience with DevOps practices: CI/CD pipeline management, containerization, observability tools.
• Understanding of serverless architecture
• Competency with source control systems (preferably git), CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, ensuring streamlined development processes.
• Exposure to JIRA or other ALM tools
