Job summary

Dexterra Group is seeking a motivated janitor to join our team at Coast Capital Bank. The overnight shift runs with flexible hours between 7:00 PM and 5:00 AM. You will perform cleaning tasks including dusting, sanitizing counters, polishing surfaces, and operating cleaning equipment to ensure a spotless client experience.

The ideal candidate has floor care experience, ability to lift up to 25 lbs, and strong communication skills. WHMIS certification and a clear background check are preferred.

Qualifications

• Floor care experience is an asset (able to scrub, buff and polish floors).
• Knowledge of stripping and waxing the floor is an asset.
• Able to operate cleaning equipment and machines.
• Able to communicate with supervisors, client and general public.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs.
• WHMIS certified (Training can be supplied).
• A clear criminal record check is required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Dust or wipe down check-in counters.
• Empties and cleans check-in counters waste baskets.
• Spot cleans walls, partitions, light switches and doors, window sills.
• Cleans and polishes chrome and other polished metal surfaces.
• Cleans partition glass that is within arm’s reach.
• Dusts baseboards and low air vents.
• Damp mops small area hard surface floors.
• Vacuuming duties as requested.
