Job summary

Dexterra Group is seeking a motivated cleaner to join our Ottawa team. The role involves cleaning duties around check-in counters, windows, walls, and floors, with weekend shifts from 7 am–3 pm and 3 pm–11 pm.

You will help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients and staff. Experience in floor care is beneficial, and candidates must be able to communicate with supervisors and the public, have a positive attitude, and be capable of lifting up to 25 lbs.

Qualifications

• Floor care experience is preferred but not required.
• Able to communicate with supervisors, clients and the public.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic are essential.
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs and perform manual cleaning tasks.
• WHMIS certification or training can be provided.
• A clear criminal record check is required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Dust or wipe down check-in counters.
• Empty and clean check-in counters waste baskets.
• Spot clean walls, partitions, light switches and doors, window sills.
• Clean and polish chrome and other polished metal surfaces.
• Clean partition glass within arm's reach.
• Dust baseboards and low air vents.
• Damp mop small area hard surface floors.
• Vacuum as needed.
• Clean under and around toilets and urinals.

WHAT’S THE JOB?

We're looking for a motivated, quality-driven, Cleaner to join our team in Ottawa.

The weekend shift is 7 am to 3 pm and 3 pm to 11 pm.

Your Work Will Include

• Dust or wipe down check-in counters
• Empties and cleans check-in counters waste baskets
• Spot cleans walls, partitions, light switches and doors, window sills
• Cleans and polishes chrome and other polished metal surfaces
• Cleans partition glass that is within arm's reach
• Dusts baseboards and low air vents
• Damp mops small area hard surface floors
• Vacuuming duties as requested
• Clean under and around toilets and urinals
