A growing cleaning services provider is seeking a full-time Cleaner at the Haliburton Campus of Fleming College. The successful applicant will ensure a sanitary environment while managing cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and garbage collection. Ideal candidates should have at least one year of cleaning experience and a clear criminal background check. The position offers a stable work schedule from Monday to Friday, 7 am to 3 pm, with the flexibility to cover additional absences.

As aCleaner at the Haliburton Campus of Fleming College, reportingto the Account Manager, you will ensure a sanitary environment, securing and maintaining tools/equipment used to perform the day to day work and performing other duties as assigned or requested. We are looking for a full time cleaner, Monday to Friday from 7am-3pm as well as flexible candidates who are available as needed to cover absences, vacations, or to meet increased demand to support our custodial staff.

YOUR WORK WILL INCLUDE:

• Common area cleaning and washrooms
• Collecting and transporting garbage
• Sweeping and mopping the floor and vacuuming the carpets
• High dusting the common area
• Cleaning windows
• Snow removal and ice melt application

Qualifications

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• A great attitude!
• At least one (1) year experience in cleaning.
• Able to communicate with supervisor, Client and general public
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs
• Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act and Workplace Hazardous Materials.
• A clear criminal background check is required for this role.
