Job summary

Dexterra Group in Ottawa is seeking a motivated, quality-driven Cleaner to join our team. You will perform dusting, wiping, floor care and general cleaning across check-in areas and restrooms.

Weekend shifts are 7 am–3 pm and 3 pm–11 pm. WHMIS certification is preferred, training available. A clear criminal record check is required. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and to communicate with supervisors and clients are essential. Experience with autoscrubber is a plus.

Qualifications

• Willingness to work weekend shifts.
• Experience with cleaning duties including dusting, mopping, vacuuming.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• WHMIS certification or willingness to be trained.
• Criminal record check required.

Responsibilities

• Dust or wipe down check-in counters.
• Empties and cleans check-in counters waste baskets.
• Spot cleans walls, partitions, light switches and doors, window sills.
• Cleans and polishes chrome and other polished metal surfaces.
• Cleans partition glass that is within arm’s reach.
• Dusts baseboards and low air vents.
• Damp mops small area hard surface floors.
• Vacuuming duties as requested.
• Clean under and around toilets and urinals.
