The Janitor reports to the Maintenance Manager and is responsible to provide a range of services that promote a positive appearance of the facility for both clients and staff. Working in conjunction with the rest of the team at Rock Bay Landing, the Janitor ensures that areas are clean and free of hazards.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 plus one (1) year of recent related experience.
  
  

Requirements:

• WHMIS Certification.
• Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General Criminal Record Check.
  
  

Job Information

• Hourly Rate: $24.43 - $28.04
• Work Days: Monday - Friday.
• Shift Time: 7:00am - 3:00pm.
• Weekly Hours: 40.
• Union: BCGEU.
• Work Location: Various Cool Aid housing and shelter sites.
• Benefits: Eligible for 100% employer paid benefits. We offer comprehensive extended health and dental plans.
• Job Type: Full-time, temporary until the return of the incumbent.
  
  

In compliance with OHS and WorkSafe regulations, staff at this site will be supplied with and required to wear a half-mask respirator while performing task-specific duties.
