The Côté-Jardins Long-Term Care Center Inc. has two facilities in Saint-Augustin-de-Desmaures and Sainte-Foy. It welcomes adults with functional or psychosocial loss of autonomy).

Our Côté Jardins site is currently looking for an IT technician for a 9-month replacement with the possibility of extension to join its team!

Reporting to the Head of Information Resources, the IT technician ensures the proper functioning of the equipment and software of our facility teams and ensures the satisfaction of our employees.

The incumbent performs daily and effective monitoring of technical issues encountered within the company.

Responsibilities :

• Set up and configure computer and telephone workstations;
• Configure and update workstations;
• Regularly maintain servers and computer and networking equipment;
• Configure, improve, and debug the IP telephone platform;
• Maintain DNS, email, Internet, FTP, and other company IT platforms;
• Ensure technical support is provided to employees by phone, email, and on-site during business hours;
• Ensure emergency technical support is provided outside of business hours;
• Document configuration changes;
• Participate in projects Development and implementation;

All other related tasks.

Required profile :

Hold a college diploma with a specialization in computer science (DEC) or equivalent.

College diploma (DEC) combined with a relevant undergraduate university certificate or a relevant Attestation of College Studies (AEC) of 800 hours or more combined with relevant experience in the targeted field.

Demonstrate good collaboration, communication, and customer service skills.

Demonstrate an ability to perform support work, with good prioritization of work based on the impact and urgency of requests.
