Noojmowin Teg Health Centre is seeking an IT Intern to provide day-to-day technical and administrative support across the organization’s information technology systems and digital resources. You will work under the direction of the IT Manager, assist with setup and maintenance of computers, and help manage IT inventory and documentation.

You will gain hands-on experience in a healthcare, Indigenous-focused community organization, supporting cybersecurity, user accounts, and routine technology

Qualificações

• Currently enrolled in, or recently graduated from, a post-secondary program in Information Technology or related field.
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, operating systems, networking, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft 365 applications.
• Experience setting up or troubleshooting computers, printers, mobile devices, and other technology is an asset.
• Previous IT help desk, technical support, co-op, internship, or related experience is an asset.

Responsabilidades

• Provide first-level technical support to staff for hardware, software, network, printers, and peripherals.
• Assist with setup, configuration, and maintenance of desktops, laptops, monitors, and devices.
• Assist with setup and maintenance of employee technology accounts and access.
• Support basic Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, SharePoint).
• Maintain IT inventory and documentation; assist with lifecycle tracking and asset disposition.
• Follow cybersecurity and privacy policies; report incidents and maintain confidentiality.
• Assist with IT projects, upgrades, and documentation.
