Job summary

Business Development Bank of Canada is seeking an IT Operations and Performance Coordinator to support the IT team with procurement, consultant renewals, and supplier relationships. The role requires strong attention to detail, independent work habits, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

The ideal candidate will have a business-related degree, knowledge of IT contracts, and excellent analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate consultant contract renewals, monitor deadlines and contract terminations.
• Manage consultant waiver requests, gather justifications and approvals, document and track.
• Prepare and process purchase orders in ServiceNow with required information and approvals.
• Prepare procurement documentation ensuring service descriptions, levels, security and confidentiality requirements.
• Serve as IT Procurement resource and provide guidance per Procurement Policy.
• Advise IT teams on procurement strategies considering cost, risks, and optimization opportunities.
• Anticipate information needs, perform research/analysis, and make recommendations based on IT objectives.

Education

College or university degree in a business-related field
