Job summary

The City of Niagara Falls Information Systems department is seeking a student or recent graduate to support IT infrastructure, systems and network administration tasks. Working under the Manager of IT Infrastructure, you will assist with hardware/software support requests, installations, AV setups and security measures.

This 35-hour work week runs January through May 2027 with a possible extension beyond the initial term.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in full-time post-secondary studies or a recent graduate from a recognized Computer Engineering program.
• Experience in operation/maintenance of computers in a WAN is an asset.
• Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Respond to hardware and software support requests related to the Corporation’s voice and data networks.
• Setup audio and visual presentations as assigned.
• Assist with installations, upgrades and security measures.
• Assist with organizing and maintaining the Corporate Server Room.
• Assist in all aspects of the Corporation’s voice and data networks.
