The Corporation of the City of Niagara Falls Information Systems department is seeking a student or recent graduate to support the IT group. The position is fixed-term, running January to May 2027 with a possibility of extension, at an hourly rate of CAD 20.35.

The role involves responding to hardware/software requests, setting up presentations, and assisting with installations and security measures. Applicants must be enrolled in full-time post-secondary studies or be a recent Computer

Qualifications

• Enrolled in full-time post-secondary studies or recent graduate from Computer Engineering program.
• Experience in operation/maintenance/management of computers in a WAN is an asset.
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Highly organized with strong communication skills.
• Ability to follow simple written and oral instructions with minimal supervision.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsabilités

• Respond to hardware/software support requests for voice/data networks.
• Set up audio/visual presentations as needed.
• Assist with installations, upgrades and security measures.
• Assist in organizing and maintaining the Corporate Server Room.
• Assist in all aspects of the Corporation's voice and data networks.
