Role:

We are seeking a skilled Server Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with cloud infrastructure, on-premise servers (Hyper-V), Teams phone migration, and Azure Local. This role involves managing and optimizing server environments to ensure high availability and performance. This position will be tied to projects involving back-up storage upgrades, UPS upgrades, rack cleanup, new systems rollout, and legacy infrastructure decommissioning.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions
• Maintain and support on-premise servers, particularly Hyper-V environments
• Perform server migrations and upgrades to ensure seamless transitions
• Manage domain services and ensure robust security protocols
• Lead Teams phone migration projects, ensuring smooth integration and functionality
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support Azure Local deployments
• Monitor server performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime
• Develop and maintain documentation for server configurations and procedures
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve infrastructure
• Data Centre knowledge i.e. backup, storage, rack designs, UPS + Power

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in server engineering or related roles
• Proficiency in cloud platforms, particularly Azure
• Strong experience with Hyper-V and on-premise server management
• Experience with Teams phone migration and Azure Local
• Knowledge of domain management and security best practices
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work in Agile team environments and lead projects
• Ability to lift server and UPS equipment
• Onsite work is required

The expected new hire salary range is $100 - $130 an hour.
