Job Posting Title: Azure Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Job Summary:

BC Legal Services Society is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to help design, implement, and support scalable and secure Azure-based infrastructure solutions. The successful candidate will be a critical part of cloud architecture reviews, Infrastructure-as-Code development, platform administration, and ensuring compliance with security and operational standards.

Note: Only candidates located within a 60-minute commute to Vancouver, BC will be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with design and validation of Azure solutions per the Azure Well-Architected Framework
• Participate in Architecture Reviews and infrastructure planning sessions
• Deploy and configure Azure services, including foundational components like Landing Zones, Management Groups, Azure Monitor, and Policies
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using PowerShell, Azure CLI, and Terraform
• Support BCDR strategies, backups, and cloud security configurations
• Administer and optimize Azure Data Platforms like Synapse Analytics and Microsoft Fabric
• Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and provide support for operational environments
• Collaborate with project teams and IT security to ensure compliance and best practices
• 3+ years of hands-on Azure infrastructure management
• Advanced PowerShell and Azure CLI scripting experience
• Strong knowledge of Azure Administration, Security (Entra ID/Azure AD), and Networking (NSGs, routing, VPNs)
• Experience with Azure Storage, Azure SQL, and related data services
• Familiarity with Azure Integration Components
• Strong project management and stakeholder communication skills

Nice to Have:

• Power BI administration (Premium Capacity, Gateway, Deployment) with certification
• Knowledge of MicroStrategy architecture and migration
• Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Terraform accelerators
• Background in setting up Azure Virtual Desktop environments
• Experience with Azure Management Groups, Landing Zones, and Canary deployments
• Exposure to Power Platform, Azure Automation, and DAX/data modeling
