About the Job:

Cyderes is seeking a dedicated and creative Platform Operations Engineer to join our Platform Management team. The ideal candidate will have experience working efficiently in small teams, be flexible in roles, and be familiar with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, and GCP. The primary focus will be on supporting client technical needs related to Cyderes data ingestion and alerting pipelines. Candidates should have a solid understanding of networking, security concepts, telemetry (log) monitoring, and experience with SIEMs or centralized logging technologies. The role requires attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a passion for customer service. We value honesty, accuracy, positivity, and a customer-first attitude. The candidate must be comfortable engaging with stakeholders and eager to innovate, improve, and tackle complex problems in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist clients with integrating log telemetry into the Cyderes platform.
2. Support troubleshooting tasks such as:
3. SSO integrations
4. Networking issues (firewalls, load balancers, routing, DNS, etc.)
5. Logging issues
6. Network appliance troubleshooting
7. TLS configurations
8. Respond to escalations internally and externally
9. Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation
10. Support data normalization and parsing efforts for clients and internal teams
11. Collaborate with engineering teams to deploy log telemetry integrations

Requirements:

1. 3+ years of experience in Network or Computer Security
2. Deep knowledge of networking protocols and troubleshooting tools
3. Experience with monitoring and analyzing telemetry logs
4. Strong communication skills and ability to work well with clients
5. Experience with security telemetry platforms (firewalls, EDR, OS security tools)
6. Development experience is a plus
