  • Oversee the availability, reliability, and security of servers, storage, backup systems, cloud services, and communications platforms.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior support specialists.
  • Liaise with vendors and third-party providers to resolve issues and implement enhancements.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of the infrastructure environment and support software licensing compliance.
  • Research, evaluate, and recommend infrastructure solutions and services, including emerging cloud and on-prem technologies.
  • Participate in the infrastructure on-call rotation and perform required maintenance during off-hours.
  • Lead disaster recovery planning, testing, and documentation efforts.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams and partners to ensure performance, security, and service-level compliance.

Required Knowledge & Skills:

  • Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field, with at least 8 years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure roles.
  • Relevant industry certifications such as Microsoft Azure Architect, DevOps Engineer, and ITIL.
  • Expert-level experience with Microsoft Azure services (IaaS and PaaS), security and SIEM, networking, backups, and update management.
  • Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation tools for scalable and efficient deployments.
  • Advanced knowledge of Windows Server OS, Microsoft Infrastructure Services, hypervisors, databases, scripting, and backup/recovery technologies.
  • Strong familiarity with Microsoft 365 services including Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, Intune, and Security & Compliance Center.
  • Proven experience leading Disaster Recovery (DR) planning and execution, including developing playbooks and conducting DR tests.
  • Experience with AWS cloud services (especially web hosting) is a strong asset.
  • Experience working with Operational Technology (OT), and within property management or construction sectors is an asset.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and resourcefulness in complex, multi-vendor environments.
