We are looking for a IT Infrastructure Engineer who will be responsible for the maintenance and planned upgrades to our IT infrastructure, as well as the day‑to‑day administration of computer hardware.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and maintain high‑availability (HA) solutions using existing Linux DRBD for synchronous block‑level replication, ensuring seamless failover and 99.9%+ uptime for critical systems. Experience with HA and Replication with CephFS, ZFS or Software RAID and willingness to learn and work with DRBD.
  • Upgrade and maintain enterprise software like ERP, Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, Vault Server, Altium, GitLab, etc.
  • Providing prompt and effective 1st‑level support for network issues, telecommunications, and workstation‑related concerns, serving as the initial point of contact for all IT‑related inquiries.
  • VPN Management, Firewall Administration and Network Infrastructure experience is required.
  • Continuously monitor systems for vulnerabilities, unusual traffic, or intrusion attempts. Implement best practices, patches, and hardening across all systems. Ensure compliance with industry security standards.
  • Diagnosing and solving hardware and software problems and replacing defective components. Organize and maintain all network hardware, software, printers, phones, RF Hand Scanners, laptops, etc.
  • Keeping the company’s 3CX phone system in good condition.
  • Setting up workstations and laptops for different roles and installation of required software tools.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in system administration in a manufacturing set up.
  • Industry‑standard certifications such as A+, Network+, MCP, etc.
  • Hands‑on knowledge of current Microsoft software, including Windows and Office applications.
  • Proficiency in the following systems (considered strong assets): DRBD, ERP, Warehouse Management Systems, Anti‑virus software, Network security, Office 365, Windows OS, Windows Server 2012 R2, Juniper networking, Cisco Wi‑Fi.
