Salary: $55,000 - $70,000 + Unique variable compensation plan
Role & Responsibilities
- Monitor, maintain, and optimize client systems, applications, and network environment
- Regular on-site client visits & client follow-ups
- Provide feedback to the sales team for regular business reviews
- Efficiently respond to client needs and troubleshoot or escalate issues as required
- Provide remote support for remote users
- Perform server administration tasks, including file services, user/group administration, security permissions, group policies, print services
- Provide Level - 1, 2, & 3 server administration tasks including: file services, user/group administration, security permissions, group policies, print services
- Provide level: 1, 2 & 3 networking support (TCP/IP, DNS/MX, simple subnets, VLAN, VPN, firewalls, wireless)
- Provide Level - 1 & 2 application support for Microsoft 365 (SharePoint/OneDrive, Exchange, Azure AD/Microsoft Entra, MS teams) and SMB apps
- Deploy / repair & replace services on desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
- Install and configure Windows Desktop
- Check events and logs and escalate issues as required
- Complete weekly and monthly Service Level Agreement tasks
- Monitor backup & business continuity (Datto, Veeam)
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
- 3-5+ years experience supporting SMB networks and systems
- Fundamental knowledge or exposure to the following technologies:
- Operating Systems: Windows 10 and 11, Windows Server 2016, 2019, 2022, Linux, OSX, iOS, Android, VMWare, Hyper-V, Nutanix
- Networking: Cisco, Meraki, SonicWALL, Fortinet, HP, Wireless AP
- Microsoft 365: Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams
- Excellent customer service skills
- Highly proficient at identifying user and system issues and resolving or escalating
- Proficient in implementing Microsoft 365 application suite
- Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- CompTIA or equivalent training
- Microsoft Certifications
- Polycom or equivalent conferencing tools training as an asset
- Valid drivers license and personal vehicle
