Job summary

Letko, Brosseau & Associates in Toronto seeks an Analyst to join their Investment Services team. The role emphasizes growth, collaboration across departments, and serving clients with rigorous research and thoughtful analysis.

You will support Investment Counsellors, assist with RFIs/RFPs, and contribute to performance attribution and market writing. 0–2 years of experience and CFA/CIM interest are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, commerce, finance or related field.
• 0–2 years of relevant work experience.
• Interest in pursuing CFA or CIM designation encouraged.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience with eVestment or Bloomberg is a plus.
• Knowledge of institutional investment industry is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information.
• Drafting documentation in French and English for Canadian and international clients.

Responsibilities

• Client servicing support: assist Investment Counsellors with portfolio analysis and preparing client reports.
• Business development support: respond to RFIs, RFPs, and DDQs; assist in presentations for institutional prospects.
• Performance analysis: develop attribution commentary for investment strategies shared with clients.
• Capital markets writing: contribute to client communications content.
• Data sourcing: update institutional prospect and client collateral.
• Competitive analysis: create competitor intelligence profiles.
• Ad hoc: work independently and with the team on strategic initiatives.
