Qualifications

• Completion of a professional accounting designation.
• Experience with segregated funds, mutual funds or securities/investments is an asset.
• Experience with financial reporting and fund accounting is an asset.

• Strong leadership and ability to lead processes and develop team members.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily fund valuation and investment operations processes.
• Provide oversight of quarterly financial reports/entries for investment activity.
• Supervise trading operations daily, month-end, and quarter-end.
• Oversee manual and automated trading processes.
• Build relationships with Investment Managers and internal teams.
• Drive process improvements and document procedures.
• Lead departmental initiatives and special projects.
• Mentor junior staff and support career development.
