Job summary

Citco in Toronto, hybrid role, leads a team in fund accounting for Private Assets, delivering NAV calculations, financial statements, and client reporting.

You will supervise staff, ensure compliance with internal and external standards, coordinate audits, and collaborate with groups globally. Requires CPA/CFA or equivalent and 4+ years of team leadership in fund accounting, with Private Equity experience.

Qualifications

• University degree in accounting/finance or professional designation.
• 4+ years in managing a Fund Accounting team.
• 3-5 years fund accounting experience in Private Equity or similar.
• Knowledge of US/Canadian GAAP.
• Experience reviewing ledgers and financial statements.
• Strong leadership, organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with FIS Investran.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Fund Accounting team to meet departmental and organizational goals.
• Implement and monitor strategic plans to achieve business objectives.
• Oversee daily operations for accurate NAV calculations and financial statement preparation.
• Review fund expenses (admin, management, carried interest) and partner allocations.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, external standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate external audits and liaise with client onboarding and conversions.
