Great-West Lifeco seeks an Associate Manager for Investment Operations to oversee daily fund valuation and financial reporting for the Canada Life assets. The role includes supervising trading operations, driving process improvements, and guiding junior staff in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Completion of a professional accounting designation.
• Experience with segregated funds, mutual funds or securities/investments is an asset.
• Experience with financial reporting, private equity accounting, valuations, and fund accounting is an asset.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven leadership and team development skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines.

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily fund valuation processes and related financial reporting.
• Provide oversight of quarterly financial reports/entries for investment activity.
• Supervise daily, month-end and quarter-end trading operations and processes.
• Lead process improvements and documentation within Investment Operations.
• Coach and develop team members and support career progression.
• Collaborate with Investment Managers and internal partners to drive efficiency.
