Job summary

RONA is hiring for a Receiving and Handling role to manage incoming deliveries and maintain inventory flow within the Winnipeg location. The team emphasizes accuracy and efficiency in moving goods from receiving to store shelves, utilizing forklift operations and proper paperwork.

Ideal candidates demonstrate strong attention to detail and a commitment to health and safety, with experience operating material handling equipment and a proactive approach to store operations.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate store equipment in assigned work area (forklift, pallet jacks, electrical lifts, computer, scanner).
• Commitment to health and safety in the workplace.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency with material handling equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive all product deliveries and maintain flow of inventory to store shelves (sort and unpack product, operate forklift to transport product to appropriate areas).
• Schedule deliveries and shipments, authorize unscheduled deliveries, and ensure space is available for incoming product.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory received.
• Complete paperwork with attention to accuracy.
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly.
