Job summary

RONA in Brantford, Ontario is seeking a Receiving and Handling team member to ensure smooth, accurate product flow from delivery to shelves.

You will receive deliveries, sort and unpack, operate forklift, schedule shipments, and maintain inventory integrity while completing paperwork with care. The role emphasizes health and safety, attention to detail, teamwork, and continuous training to support store operations.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate store equipment in the work area (forklift, pallet jacks, etc.).
• Commitment to health and safety in the workplace.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Experience with material handling equipment is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Receive all product deliveries and maintain flow of inventory to store shelves (sort and unpack product, operate forklift to transport product to appropriate areas).
• Schedule deliveries and shipments, authorize unscheduled deliveries, and ensure space is available for incoming product.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory received.
• Complete paperwork with accuracy.
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly.
