Job summary

RONA in Rosemère, QC is seeking a Receiving and Handling team member to manage inbound product flow and inventory accuracy. You will receive deliveries, sort and store stock, and ensure paperwork is accurate, contributing to smooth store operations and customer service.

Ideal candidates will operate equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks, maintain safety standards, and work as part of a collaborative team to meet daily delivery goals.

Qualifications

• Able to operate store equipment (forklift, pallet jacks, electrical lifts) safely and efficiently.
• Commitment to health and safety in the workplace.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory handling.

Responsibilities

• Receive all product deliveries and maintain inventory flow to store shelves.
• Schedule deliveries and shipments; authorize unscheduled deliveries and manage space.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory received; complete paperwork with accuracy.
• Perform other related tasks to keep the store running smoothly.

Your role:

• Receive all product deliveries and maintain flow of inventory to store shelves (sort and unpack product, operate forklift to transport product to appropriate areas)
• Schedule deliveries and shipments, authorize unscheduled deliveries, and ensure space is available for incoming product
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory received
• Complete paperwork with attention to accuracy
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly

What we're looking for:

• Ability to operate store equipment in assigned work area (forklift, pallet jacks, electrical lifts, computer, scanner etc.)
• A commitment to health and safety in the workplace
• Strong attention to detail
• Proficiency with material handling equipment will be considered an asset
