Job summary

RONA is seeking an Receiving and Handling associate to ensure smooth product flow from delivery to shelf. You will receive all deliveries, move inventory with equipment, and maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities include scheduling deliveries, ensuring space for incoming stock, pricing updates, and inventory counting. A safety-focused, physically capable team member will thrive in this role.

• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly.

Your role:

Receive all product deliveries and maintain flow of inventory to store shelves (sort and unpack product, operate forklift to transport product to appropriate areas)

Schedule deliveries and shipments, authorize unscheduled deliveries, and ensure space is available for incoming product

Ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory received

Complete paperwork with attention to accuracy

Computer entry of orders receptions

Price change and display

Locate and relocate the merchandise

Inventory count

Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly

What we're looking for:

Ability to operate store equipment in assigned work area (forklift, pallet jacks, electrical lifts, computer, scanner etc.)

A commitment to health and safety in the workplace

Strong attention to detail

Proficiency with material handling equipment will be considered an asset

Good physical condition is an asset
