Job summary

RONA in Mississauga is seeking a Receiving and Handling team member to ensure smooth product flow from delivery to shelf. You will receive all deliveries, sort and unpack, and help transport product to appropriate areas with forklift.

You will schedule deliveries, maintain inventory accuracy, complete paperwork, and support store operations. The role emphasizes health and safety, attention to detail, and reliable teamwork to keep the store running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate store equipment including forklift and pallet jacks.
• Commitment to health and safety in the workplace.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability in inventory handling.

Responsibilities

• Receive all product deliveries and maintain flow of inventory to store shelves (sort and unpack product, operate forklift to transport product to appropriate areas).
• Schedule deliveries and shipments, authorize unscheduled deliveries, and ensure space is available for incoming product.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory received.
• Complete paperwork with attention to accuracy.
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly.

• Ability to operate store equipment in assigned work area (forklift, pallet jacks, electrical lifts, computer, scanner etc.)
• A commitment to health and safety in the workplace
• Strong attention to detail
• Proficiency with material handling equipment will be considered an asset
