What's the role?

The role of Inventory Controller is responsible for monitoring and executing inventory accuracy, as well as creating and implementing training materials related to Hilti's inventory accuracy initiatives. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, executing continuous inventory counts, system adjustments, and maintaining ICS compliance with inventory activities.

What does the role involve?
  1. Manage and control distribution center (DC) inventory through continuous cycle counting, investigations, and reconciliation.
  2. Drive inventory performance by participating in training and executing core warehouse processes, with a focus on inventory management and bin count accuracy.
  3. Define and implement local operational goals to improve overall DC performance, ensuring targets for inventory accuracy, quality, and customer satisfaction are met.
  4. Perform ongoing inventory analysis, including monitoring and investigating inventory adjustments, assisting in return processes, and investigating related shipping complaints.
  5. Maintain warehouse setup systematically.
  6. Perform additional duties as assigned.
What you need is:
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent, required.
  • Minimum three (3) years of progressive experience in inventory control.
  • Warehouse or related operational experience is strongly preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP, with at least three (3) years preferred.
  • Proficiency in inventory management and quality.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate others in a teamwork environment.
