Metro Supply Chain seeks an Inventory Control Coordinator to maintain inventory accuracy through robust cycle counts and audits. You will train users, audit transactions, and help refine controls with a focus on data integrity.

Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, you will coordinate counts, investigate variances, and ensure WMS setup and adherence. The role runs Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm in Alberta, as part of a growing supply chain team.

Mansioni

• Maintains inventory accuracy, both physical and systematic by monitoring, validating and tracking inventory moves.
• Investigates and escalates inventory discrepancies and improves procedures for accuracy.
• Ensures accurate WMS setup and maintenance, including item master, location and cycle counts.
• Schedules and performs cycle counts, count-nearzero, and physical counts according to policies and customer requirements.
• Investigates variances, adjusts records, determines root cause and recommends corrective action.
• Coordinates control of damaged/defective product and customer claims per customer expectations.
• Provides feedback to management from audits and inventory counts.
• Communicates inventory issues and resolutions with management and customers.
• Suggests inventory and process improvements and works with operations to optimize flow.
• Reports inventory activity and performance per management/customer SLAs.
• Creates and maintains up-to-date inventory control procedures.
• Assists in training team members on SOPs.
