Job Summary:
Responsible for coordinating weekly cycle counts as well as coordination of month end activities. Identify root causes of inventory discrepancies and work cross functionally to resolve. Proactively work to prevent unnecessary aging of materials to prevent loss. Conduct regular cycle counts and update perpetual inventory.
Job Duties:
Duties may include, but are not limited to the following:
- Reconcile raw materials consumption per production order, capture over consumption and investigate the root cause;
- Correct production posting errors in SAP;
- Monitor and correct production posting errors daily;
- Monitor and adjust Tank/MISC inventory;
- Monitor weekly Kanban SKUs cycle counting, update metrics and may send out POs to replenish Kanban items;
- Schedule inventory cycle counting sheets for warehouse inventory counters to hit company monthly target;
- Update weekly/monthly Maker’s Pride inventory cycle counting and HTL count metric;
- Post inventory adjustments and cycle counting data in SAP;
- Process weekly inventory disposition form upon approval;
- Document inventory cycle counting records, inventory disposition forms and production order RECO sheets for internal and external audit;
- Join meetings with customer, respond inventory related inquires in time;
- Support Supply Chain Manager, Plant Controller and customer’s inventory team for monthly and year-end inventory reconciliation and clean up variance in time;
- Other tasks assigned;

- Follow Maker’s Pride health and safety policies and procedure;
- Work is primarily done in an office and warehouse setting.
- Frequent production environment exposure which includes noise, dust, moving machinery, fork lifts, and fluctuations in temperature.
- Must be able to work overtime and during weekend / month-end based on business requirements;
Physical Requirements:
- Sitting at a work station for extended periods of time
- Stand, walk, climb stairs on a frequent basis
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on an infrequent basis
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required, but Bachelor’s degree or Diploma preferred
- 2 or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment required. Food or CPG manufacturing experience is preferred
- Previous experience in cycle counting and inventory control is mandatory;
- Demonstrated math skills
- Demonstrated computer skills; MS office and email experience with an intermediate to advanced skill set with Excel is required.
- Large ERP or WMS system experience is mandatory. SAP experience is a plus.
- Forklift experience is nice to have
The pay range for this full-time, salaried position is $55,0000 - $59,000/year. Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. The position is eligible for a discretionary annual incentive based on company and individual performance.
