Qualifications

The Second Shift Screen Technician / Inspector will be responsible for inspecting the plant and operations during less productive shifts and repairing equipment as needed. This role is Monday through Friday, 3 : 00 p.m. - 1 : 00 a.m., with flexibility to work on weekends. The primary focus is to inspect and replace screen media, inspect chutes, and inspect crushers.

What You'll Do :

• Promote Safety : Prioritize safety for yourself and others, following MSHA and Vulcan standards.
• Perform General Physical Activities : Climbing, crawling, washing, sweeping, shoveling, and welding.
• Inspect Equipment and Structures : Daily inspections and maintenance to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant operations.
• Repair and Maintain Equipment : Repair screenings and crushing equipment that do not meet standards.
• Additional Responsibilities : Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Skills You'll Need :

• Experience : Previous experience in the aggregate or construction industry is preferred.
• Knowledge of Best Practices : Knowledge of industrial maintenance, construction, or aggregate production is preferred.
• Flexibility : Ability to work overtime, extended hours, outside in all weather, tolerate loud noises, and work at heights.
• Mechanical Skills : Knowledge of industrial tools, their uses, and maintenance.
