Glentel Inc. is seeking an Inventory Control Coordinator (TMS) on a 12-month contract to organize and drive inventory management across retail and warehouse locations in Canada.

The role emphasizes reporting, cycle counting, and collaboration with Purchasing and Logistics teams. You will produce weekly PO-related reports, follow up with vendors, and plan the yearly cycle counts while ensuring proper procedures.

Responsibilities

• Produce weekly reports to aid the Purchasing team in monitoring outstanding purchase orders
• Follow-up with vendors on delinquent shipments and order discrepancies
• Assist with monthly cycle count communication and store support to ensure proper procedures are being adhered to
• Plan, schedule, and communicate the yearly cycle count schedule for the retail and warehouse locations
• Audit and update monthly cycle counts conducted by retail and warehouselocations
• Promote proper execution of Inventory Count processes through various communication methods and reports
• Record and follow up with retail locations that have not submitted required monthly cycle counts
• Investigate Inventory discrepancies and ensure reported variances are accurate
• Produce and audit store adjustment reports
• Investigate general inventory shrinkages and recommend action to limit profit loss
• Assess and propose business process enhancements where required
• Document and publish Inventory Control processes for the field and head office
• General support to Purchasers and Reverse Logistics departments

The Inventory Control Coordinator (TMS) is responsible fororganizing and facilitating various inventory management and control activitiesto support The Mobile Shop (TMS). Prepares reports to detail inventory relatedadjustments for the retail organization.
