Job summary

Zanchin Automotive Group, Maple Mercedes-Benz in Vaughan, is seeking a Sales Assistant to support the sales team with administration, transactions and vehicle deliveries. This role includes delivering vehicles on/off site and presenting vehicle features to customers.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in sales administration, strong communication skills, and experience with ERP/CRM systems. A valid driver’s license and OMVIC license are important components for success in this fast-paced

• Strong background in administration and sales.
• Experience with CRM systems (OneEighty, DealerTrack).
• Proficiency with ERP systems (CDK/Reynolds).
• OMVIC license in good standing and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assist sales consultant with the sales transaction and administrative duties.
• Deliver vehicles to customers, on & off site.
• Test drive the vehicle, ensure its ready for delivery.
• Record and track vehicle transactions and deliveries.
• Prepare final delivery checklists for each customer.
• Present and describe vehicle specifications, features, and benefits.

The expectedsalary for this role is$50,000 to$55,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.

About the opportunity

As an integral part of the we can do that operation, this position is responsible for performing a variety of duties related to assisting the respective sales consultant with administration, sales transactions and vehicle deliveries. Specifically:

• assist sales consultant with the sales transaction and administrative duties
• deliver vehicles to customers, on & off site
• test drive the vehicle, ensure its ready for delivery
• record and track vehicle transactions and deliveries
• prepare final delivery checklists for each customer
• perform vehicle deliveries
• present and describe vehicle specifications, features, and benefits

About you

Ideal candidates will have a strong background and proven experience in administration and sales, including:

• 1 to 3 years proven experience as successful sales administration professional; automotive and/or dealership experience preferred
• experience in customer service, and the ability to have meaningful conversations
• proficiency working with ERP systems (ie. CDK/Reynolds)
• proficiency working with Customer Relationship Management Systems (ie. OneEighty, DealerTrack)
• OMVIC license in good standing
• Drivers License and clean Drivers Abstract
• ability to perform basic math calculations
• ability to adapt to a changing environment and meet deadlines
• strong ability to communicate confidently and professionally (verbally and written)
• strong attention to detail, organized and strategic
• ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
• ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
• self-motivated and driven with a passion for excellence in execution
