Job summary

Maple Volkswagen, part of Zanchin Automotive Group, is seeking a Level 2 Apprentice Technician to join the Service team in Vaughan, Canada. The role focuses on vehicle maintenance, oil changes, and diagnostics under supervision.

Ideal candidates bring 2 years of apprentice experience, a Post-Secondary diploma or equivalent, and a clean driver’s record. Opportunity for growth within the group with benefits and training.

• 2 years proven experience as an Apprentice Technician (Registered Level 2)
• Post Secondary School diploma, or equivalent experience
• ability to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles
• Driver's License and clean Drivers Abstract

Responsibilities

• perform basic vehiclecare and maintenance, including oil change, lubrication work, filter replacement, and tire rotation/replacement
• communicate with the Service Advisor and Shop Foreman to provide updates regarding the vehicle
• document all vehicle repair and maintenance performed, on the repair order
• road tests vehicles, as required

The expected pay rate for this role is $20.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

About the opportunity…

As an integral part of the “we can do that” operation, this position is responsible for performing vehicle maintenance and repair on customer and dealership vehicles, while developing practical skills. Specifically:
