Job summary

Bombardier is seeking a university-level engineering student for an 8-month Internship in Research & Technology – EcoJet Project Engineering Management in Mississauga. You will support project management activities, develop schedules, and prepare financial metrics while establishing regular stakeholder monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Support the project management activities of technical projects in Research and Technology.
• Develop, track, and update project schedules.
• Prepare and maintain financial metrics, project planning, and other project-related components.
• Establish a regular monitoring process with project stakeholders.
• Prepare weekly and monthly presentations covering the progress of the project.
• Elaborate flow diagrams.
• Help improve project management processes (risk and opportunity, change management, project improvement and gate reviews).

Intern: Research & Technology – EcoJet Project Engineering Management (8 month)

What are your contributions to the team?

• Support the project management activities of technical projects in Research and Technology.

• Develop, track, and update project schedules.

• Prepare and maintain financial metrics, project planning, and other project-related components.

How to thrive in this role?

• You are currently enrolled in a university level engineering program or a field related to aerospace.

• You have completed at least two years of the program.

• You have experience and/or have strong interest in Project Management.

• You have strong proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

• You have knowledge of Power BI and are comfortable developing dashboards and reports.

• You have experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project.

• You have a strong interest in innovation and technology development.

• You have excellent organizational and time-management skills.

• You are motivated, curious, and independent.

It is important to note that our internship opportunities are open to students only, not new graduates. The base salary for this position is expected to range from CAD $17.95 to CAD $31.00 per hour. The applicable base salary will be determined based on various criteria, at Bombardier’s sole discretion, such as the candidate’s skills, experience and qualifications. All our interns may be required to occasionally travel outside of Canada for training/work purpose.
