Job summary

Bombardier Transportation GmbH in Mississauga invites motivated engineering students to join the EcoJet Project Engineering Management team for an eight-month internship. You will support PM activities in Research & Technology and help manage schedules.

The role emphasizes developing dashboards with Power BI, Excel and PowerPoint, maintaining financial metrics, and presenting progress to stakeholders. A hybrid work setup and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a university-level engineering program related to aerospace.
• Completed at least two years of the program.
• Strong interest in Project Management.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of Power BI and dashboard/report development.
• Experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project.

Responsibilities

• Support the project management activities of technical projects in Research and Technology.
• Develop, track, and update project schedules.
• Prepare and maintain financial metrics, project planning, and other project-related components.
• Establish a regular monitoring process with project stakeholders.
• Preparing weekly and monthly presentations covering the progress of the project.
• Elaborate flow diagrams.
• Help improve project management processes (risk and opportunity, change management, project improvement and gate reviews).

It is important to note that our internship opportunities are open to students only, not new graduates. The base salary for this position is expected to range from CAD $17.95 to CAD $31.00 per hour. The applicable base salary will be determined based on various criteria, at Bombardier’s sole discretion, such as the candidate’s skills, experience and qualifications. All our interns may be required to occasionally travel outside of Canada for training/work purpose.
