Job summary

Bombardier is seeking a motivated student for an 8-month internship focused on project planning, budgeting and scheduling for Global 5500/6500 programs. You will assist the Project Engineer, build schedules, monitor progress and prepare business cases while communicating across functions.

London-style teamwork and a hybrid workplace in Canada are offered, with potential travel outside Canada for training. You must be enrolled in a relevant degree and fluent in English; French is a bonus.

Qualifications

• Internship for students only, minimum 8 months, hybrid in Toronto or Montreal.
• Candidate should be pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering, Business, PM.
• Proficient with MS Project, Excel and PowerPoint; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Help plan, track, and execute projects for Global 5500/6500 aircraft.
• Build project schedules and support implementation plans.
• Monitor progress to keep activities on track.
• Assist the Project Engineer with reporting and KPI tracking.
• Prepare business cases and budgets to support decisions.

• Helping plan, track, and execute projects for the Global 5500/6500 aircraft.
• Building project schedules and supporting implementation plans.

What We’re Looking For

• You're working toward a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or something similar (Required)
• You’re great with Microsoft Office, especially:
  • Excel (advanced is a plus!)
  • MS Project
  • PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams
• You have strong communication and time-management skills
• You can clearly explain your ideas—written or spoken
• You’re a team player and build positive relationships easily
• You’re flexible and can handle changing priorities
• You’re creative and care about the quality of your work
• You’ve done project management, budgeting, or scheduling before (a bonus)
• You’ve worked in aerospace or manufacturing (nice to have)
• You’re comfortable working independently and figuring things out
• You speak English fluently; French is a bonus
• Min 8 months internship and be willing to work from Toronto or Montreal Office 2 times per week.

It is important to note that our internship opportunities are open to students only, not new graduates. The base salary for this position is expected to range from CAD $17.95 to CAD $31.00 per hour. The applicable base salary will be determined based on various criteria, at Bombardier’s sole discretion, such as the candidate’s skills, experience and qualifications. All our interns may be required to occasionally travel outside of Canada for training/work purpose.
