Job summary

Bombardier Transportation GmbH invites a 2nd/3rd year university student in Aerospace Engineering, Product Development or Continuous Improvement to join the Research and Technology Program Office for 4–8 months. You will participate in coordinating collaborative R&D projects with industry, academia and government partners and assist in reporting and contract coordination.

You should be comfortable communicating in English and French, and you will use Power BI to support data-driven decisions in

• Currently enrolled in a university program and in good standing.
• Interest in Aerospace Engineering, product development and continuous improvement.
• Bicultural communication in English and French is required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in coordinating research and technology projects with industry, academia and government partners; identify and implement tooling improvements.
• Assist in coordinating progress and financial reporting for various R&D funding mechanisms.
• Support coordination of contracts needed to enable strategic collaborative research projects.

Intern, Research and Technology, Program Office: 4-8 months

What are your contributions to the team?

• Participate in the coordination of research and technology collaborative research projects with industry, academia and government partners by identifying and implementing improvements to tools and processes.
• Participate, as part of the R&T Program Office, in the coordination of progress and financial reporting for various R&D funding mechanisms.
• Participate, as part of R&T Program Office, in the coordination of various contracts needed to support strategic collaborative research projects.

How to thrive in this role?

• You have the necessary skills to be able to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• You are a second or third year University student with an interest in Aerospace Engineering, Product Development, and Continuous Improvement.
• You have good communication skills in both French and English.
• Knowledge of Power BI is a must.
