Job summary

Bombardier invites students to join as an Intern in Product Sustainability & Strategy for Winter 2027 at our Dorval, QC campus. The role focuses on environmental assessments, data handling, and ecodesign collaboration with cross-functional teams.

You will work under a senior LCA specialist, gaining exposure to regulatory trends, data management, and tools like Power BI, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint while supporting multi-disciplinary engineering groups.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in relevant field.
• Strong knowledge of chemical substances or materials is a plus.
• Fluent in both official languages (French and English).
• Proficiency with Word, PowerPoint and Excel; knowledge of Power BI is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Perform environmental Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) under supervision with engineering specialists.
• Analyze global environmental trends and assist in implementing company strategies for compliance.
• Participate in ecodesign projects for new technologies, materials, or engineering requirements.

What are your contributions to the team?

• Perform environmental Life Cycle Assessments (LCA). The work will be supervised by a senior LCA specialist and interactions will be required with engineering specialists from many fields (e. g. avionics, materials, flight science, etc.)
• Analyze new global environmental trends and regulations and participate in the implementation of company-level strategies to address them. This includes, for example, the development of methodologies, computer tools and databases to analyze and store data on chemicals contained in Bombardier and its suppliers' parts
• Participate in ecodesign projects, for the development of new technologies, materials, or engineering requirements.

It is important to note that our internship opportunities are open to students only, not new graduates. All our interns may be required to occasionally travel outside of Canada for training/work purpose.
