Job summary

Bombardier invites students to join its Learning Architecture team for an 8-month internship at the Administrative Centre in Canada. You will help design and deliver learning modules, materials, and assessments, while supporting LMS administration and governance activities.

Ideal candidates are pursuing degrees in instructional design/Ed-Tech or graphic design/multimedia arts, with strong communication, writing, and collaboration skills. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in instructional design or Ed-Tech or in a related field.
• Pursuing a degree in graphic design or multimedia arts.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with learning architecture team and SMEs to create learning modules and activities.
• Assist in development of instructional materials including e-learning modules, presentations and assessments.
• Collaborate with site Learning Partners to implement and evaluate new training solutions.
• Support research, content curation, and organization for learning projects.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to enhance learning experiences.
• Handle administrative tasks related to the Learning Management System (LMS).
• Analyze and track required course updates from Quality Management/Engineering specs.
• Prepare reports and project-related documentation.
• Lead governance activities such as status meetings and KPI data.
• Have fun with the team!

What are your contributions to the team?

• Collaborate with learning architecture team and Subject Matters Experts (SME) to create Learning modules activities.
• Assist in development of instructional materials (including e-learning modules, presentations, assessments, SOJTs).
• Collaborate with our site's Business Learning Partners in the implementation and the evaluation of the new training solutions.
• Support in research, content curation, and organization for new and ongoing learning projects.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for enhancing the learning experience and creating value for Bombardier.
• Handle administrative tasks pertaining to the Learning Management System (LMS).
• Analyze & Track required course updates coming from the Quality Management System and/or Engineering requirements specifications.
• Prepare reports and project-related documentation as required.
• Lead various governance activities such as status meetings, KPI data and team virtual socials.

How to thrive in this role?

• Currently pursuing a degree in one of the following:
  • Instructional design or Ed-Tech; or
  • Graphic Design or Multimedia Arts.
• Strong communication and writing skills.
• Spoken langues 2 : EN/FR, ES is a plus.
• Experience in MS Office including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook & SharePoint.
• Basic familiarity with e-learning tools (e.g., Articulate, Adobe Captivate) or a willingness to learn.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment & customer satisfaction.
• Experience with design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) or video editing software is a plus.
