Job summary

Bombardier is offering an internship in Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and IT as part of the Winter 2027 program. The role is located in Dorval, QC, Canada, with a hybrid work arrangement and a four-month duration.

Interns will administer and optimize HRIS, support HR operations, and participate in projects across HR and IT. You are currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Relations or Human Resources Management, with a strong interest in HRIS and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Relations or HR Management.
• Strong interest in HRIS and process optimization.
• Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to maintain strict confidentiality when required.

Responsibilities

• Administer and optimize HRIS for workforce management, recruitment, onboarding.
• Analyze business needs, propose improvements, participate in system projects.
• Produce HR reports, ensure data integrity, support employee lifecycle activities.
• Support HR Business Partners on engagement surveys, salary reviews, talent programs and investigations.
• Participate in labour relations projects and meetings.
• Assist with disciplinary processes and grievance management.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of HR practices.

What are your contributions to the team?

• Administer, configure, and optimize HRIS solutions, including workforce management, compensation, recruitment, and onboarding;
• Analyze business needs, recommend improvements, and participate in system implementation, integration, and enhancement projects;
• Produce and analyze HR reports, ensure data integrity, and support various activities throughout the employee lifecycle;
• Provide support to HR Business Partners on various initiatives, including engagement surveys, salary review and promotion processes, talent management programs, employee relations cases, and more;
• Participate in projects and meetings related to labour relations;
• Assist with disciplinary processes and grievance management;
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and the development of HR best practices.

How to thrive in this role?

• You are currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Relations or Human Resources Management and have a strong interest in Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and HR process optimization;
• You have knowledge of an integrated Human Resources Information System (an asset);
• You have excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel;
• You are a highly motivated team player with strong verbal and written communication skills;
